Back To School Shopping-Teacher Fashion

Hey all. BTS hit me like a freight train.  Also with my trip. ENGLAND PICTURES TO COME LATER. I got super sick on the way home from England and have not recovered.   They have me on a super crazy drug that makes me super ridiculously tired and also EVERY SINGLE JOINT IN MY BODY is aching! One of my favorite IG gals( TwentySomethingTeacher! ) featured me in her little blog on Friday so I thought I should actually post something NOT related to SLANT. Teacher Fashion.  I like to think of myself as a pretty stylish gal.  I RARELY pay full price for things. You can find me shopping at these stores on a regular basis: One of my very best girlfriends that I never get to see anymore because her store has EXPLODED started this shop in a modest little location in St. Paul.  To my delight she has just announced that she and her business partner (another gal I like to call a good friend) their SIXTH location in the Twin Cities.  ...

Meet The Teacher~~LInky

Hey all!  I am Jameson From ^DUH^ Lessons With Coffee.  I decided to Jump on the band wagon and Link up with Falling into First For the Meet The Teacher Blogger.  So.  My name is Jameson.  I am older than I would like to admit.  Teaching is actually my second career. I graduated in 2004 from The University Of Minnesota (Go Gofers) with a double degree in Creative Writing and History and a minor in Art.  What the heck do you do with that?  Well I worked at the Guthrie Theater where I edited plays for historical value.  The easiest way for me do describe what I have done: "Have you seen the movie Titanic...YOu know the blockbuster with Leo DiCaprio in it?  Yeah you know when Jack and Rose are getting it on in the car?  YES!  Ok that car.  Was not invented yet!" I did that.  But for plays.  I looked at dialect, costuming, sets, and figurative speech. SO when I tell you that I do not like teaching math ...

Twin Cities Travelin' Episode Four: The Guthrie Theater and Stone Arch Bridge

Oh Boy!  I am late on this one.  TOOOOO much going on. Have you heard this song: It is my JAM right now. Anyway back to TCtravels.  So my friend Zhenya over at Beingzheyna.com is one of the coolest chics I have ever met.  Last Tuesday was her birthday so I knew that we had to have a great day.  We decided to hand out in the Saint Anthony Main area.  We wanted to go on the Stone Arch Bridge and go to the Guthrie Theater! We started our day out at Wild Roast Cafe , I had this white chocolate raspberry mocha and Zhenya had some other specialty Mocha that I almost got, and wish I would have because they put it in a cuter cup.  And you know how I am with my coffee.  The cuter the better. We both got breakfast too.  All in all the drinks were really good, but SUPER sweet.  Like too sweet.  we both started to feel a little sugar sick and ended up throwing the rest away :( We started our trek out by walking down on S...
