keep calm and move on.

THis is not the original post I had up.  I have been asked to take it down, however there is still a handful of this post that is relevant and I spent a ton of time on it...So I am leaving it up.

Oh My goodness it has been a WEEK since I last posted and I am sorry.  NO excuses...but here is one...I am in three grad courses right now and trying to get everything ready for my room.  I have been totally busy over on Instagram.  Click here to follow me!!!!!!  Tomorrow I have a really good post coming with a linky (seriously google, figure out that linky is a word and quit changing it back to link!!!), mega pictures of projects, and a post about word problems with math!  Stay Tuned!!!!

Want to win this:

I got the idea from Erica Cerwin at PinkBuckaroo Designs you know you saw it on Pinterest and kind of wanted to do it!!!  Don't lie!  I made these for the fourth graders that I did my student teaching with last year.  They loved them.  So this is what you get from me!!!!!  I will customize them for you in your classroom colors, if there is a font you want, AND assemble them.  The only thing that I would suggest is that you put the glowsticks in the pockets so that they do not break in shipment.  That is right folks.  You say you have a jungle themed room with 25 kids in it.  You will get 60 glowsticks...(just to be safe I will give you more) 30 pockets with attached grade star, 30 custom messages, and 30 ribbons to tie your sticks to your message!  Once the winner is named, I will contact you and you will need to email me back by Tuesday (July 30) night.  I will have your prize in the mail by Friday August 2.

Sadly, I am only going to ship to US residents only.  FEAR NOT MY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS!!!  IF you win I will send you the print outs for you to make this (although you are so smart (kiss your brain) I am sure you could figure it out.)

If your school already started, we could change the message to something for summer and you have them ready to go!

If you are ready to enter here is what you need to do is, follow my blog on bloglovin, and leave a comment with your contact email.  That is it. no tricks.  no extra entries.  Everyone gets one.

Moving on.
I made these to put on pencils (That I have not gotten yet) for the first day of school.  They are just simple little circles with chevron and a scallop boarder.  I made everything so I don't think I need to credit anyone...I am still new to this whole world....Forgive my naivety. I put it up as an editable powerpoint.  You can edit it by simply changing the text box in each circle.  As I was making it I thought it would be a really cute word wall too.  Sadly, my district is not into word walls for middle school.  We have dictionaries. :( please play your tiny violin now.

I am going to write "Welcome to your new MATH class!" in them, and just punch a hole in the top and the bottom so that a pencil will slide through it!  You can get this freebie HERE .  SOrry about using Tiny Upload.  I haven't figured out the inner-workings of dropbox or google apps. I will get there.  :)

OK.  Time for bed.  See you tomorrow!
Cheers,
Jameson!
